Foreword
It seems that we cannot stop
globalization waves from rushing the world in the last two
decades. International competition becomes fiercer with the
presence of products having stronger market penetration. Progress
in science and technology will intensify inter-regional and
international communications. This certainly will diffuse
boundaries of one country from another. Consequently, quality
requirements of products specified by the world's customer become
more uniform in nature.
Customer's satisfaction is considered the utmost priority for the success of products and services industry. As such, only products and services industry. As such, only products and services with quality that satisfies consumers' requirements will be able to grow and expand in the global market.
These changes need to be immediately anticipated by all Indonesian companies - especially, quality improvement needs serious attention. Hopefully the presence of IQMA will help enhance quality throughout the country and therefore it will contribute a positive impact to the Indonesian development as a whole.
